      With nearly 20 years combined scoping experience, Judy and Cathy will share tips and tricks from a scopist's point of view, relate some horror stories, explain how to effectively find and work with a scopist, and how joining forces with a scopist can help you make more money or simply free up some valuable time.

      Mike Miller, fondly known as DepoMan, will cover a multitude of subjects relating to the court reporting field, realtime reporting, the reporting industry as a whole, and the DepoMan website for the online court reporter.  Be prepared to laugh and learn when DepoMan is in the house!

      As a judge, ethics come into play every day in how a situation is handled.  It is not only impropriety, but the appearance of impropriety that must be watched out for.  Judge Larry Standley will discuss with us ethics in the courtroom, from the bench, and in life in general.

    10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M.  Session 7 – Ethics from the Bench – Judge Michael McSpadden - .1 Ethics CEU

      Casey and Mylinda will share with you some of the things they have learned through their years of working together in any and every situation, the ethical dilemmas they’ve encountered, solutions they’ve devised, and what makes attorney/reporter relations work – or not work.
