Speaker: A Certified Peace Officer, HPD
Personal safety is awareness in everything you do,
from the time you awake in the morning until the
time you go to bed at night; it means being aware
of your surroundings and the people in your
surroundings. A police officer from the Houston
Police Department will address us concerning this
important issue.

Do you know what the rules are? This session will
address a multitude of issues that we encounter
every day as reporters. As a firm owner for 15
years, Mylinda encounters reporters every day who
have no idea what the rules are. As a reporter
in the trenches who works with many different
firms, Janet sees things from the other side of
the desk. They will address the things that you
need to know to survive and maintain your
licensure.
